Races for 2018

Our first race that we are competing in is the Knik 200.  The Knik 200 we have raced in 4 previous times. In 2017 we finished in 7th place. The Knik 200 starts at Knik Lake, Knik, AK on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 12:00pm. Our second race that we are competing in is the Northern Lights 300. We have raced in every year since it started except for the year it was cancelled do to poor trail conditions. In 2017 we finished in 4th place. The Northern Lights 300 starts at Martin Buser's Happy Trails Kennel in Big Lake, AK on Friday January 26, 2018 at 11:00am. Our 3rd and final race we are competing in is the Iditarod. We have taken place in 5 previous races and finished in 3 of them. The ceremonial start is in Anchorage, AK on Saturday March 3, 2018 at 10:00am. The restart is on Sunday March 4, 2018 at 2:00pm on Willow Lake Willow, AK. Date and time may change due to weather conditions. Come out to either start or fly to Nome to see us finish the 1,049 mile race!


A few miles before the finish line in Nome, Alaska during the 2017 Iditarod. It took the team and I 10 days, 21 hours 30 minutes and 21 seconds to finish the race. The 10 dogs that went the entire race were: Brown, Black, Oak, Aspen, Kodiak, Grizzly, Yukon, Marble, Mckinley & Willow. Marble was the youngest on the team to finish.
